- אֶשתּוֹמָּאm. (שמם, v. next w.) confusion, nonsense. Ḥull.84b א׳ קאמרוכ׳ he talks nonsense, let his interpreter (אֲמוֹרָא) be taken away from him (v. Rashi a. l. for diff. version, a. conception of אמורא).
